Since we started with the Silentel we’re dedicated to developing and providing products and services with highest security and privacy standards. We respect "privacy by design" ideas.
The Silentel Privacy Policy is based on the rule that the system doesn't require any personal data (name, address, mobile phone number, or anything else) which can be used to identify end-user identity. And we have no intention to change it.
Please read these Privacy Policy carefully before using Silentel Hosted services (the "Services") provided by Ardaco, a.s. or our subsidiary ("Ardaco", "us", "we", or "our").
Your access to and use of our Services is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Privacy Policy. These Privacy Policy apply to all users and others who access or use the System or Services.
1. Information We Collect
Ardaco must receive or collect some information to operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services, including when you install, access, or use our Services. The types of information we receive and collect depend on how you use our Services.
1.1. Information You Provide
Your Account Information. You provide your:
- User name and Display name (arbitrary according your preference and availability)
- Mobile phone number - only optional for SMS notification feature
Your Contacts. We manage other Silentel users within your communication group which are your contacts.
Your Silentel features - according your requirements (Secure Voice calls, Secure Conference, Secure Messages, Secure File transfer).
Your Messages and Files transferred via Silentel. Messages and Files are end-to-end encrypted. It means that data are encrypted before sending and are decrypted only after delivery to receiver (directly in users' devices). Data are never decrypted during transfer. Even the Silentel Server never knows the encryption keys and is not able to decrypt the content.
Account activation date and expiration date if expiration is not set to Never.
Customer Support. You may provide us with information related to your use of our Services, including application logs, and how to contact you so we can provide you customer support. For example, you may send us an email with information relating to our app performance or other issues.
1.2. Automatically Collected Information
Statistical information. We collect information about your activity on our Services, like service- related, diagnostic, and performance information. This includes information about your activity including:
- Date and time when you are logging and logout to Silentel.
- Date and time your last activity.
- How many calls and conferences you perform (incoming and outgoing) and total duration of all calls per day.
- How many messages received and sent per day.
- Your current status (online, offline, invisible, away)
Device and Connection information
- User hardware model, unique identifier, device platform, operating system, browser type and Silentel application version.
- In case of customer support request, we may also collect IP address, crash reports, system activity and the date and time.
1.3. No Third-Party Information
There’s no information provided by third party and also, we never provide any information to third party.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we have to operate and provide our Services, including providing customer support. We also use the information we have to evaluate and improve our Services, research, develop, and test new services and features, and conduct troubleshooting activities. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us.
Information provided for customer support are collected and used only until the support case is solved. Immediately after that all related information are deleted.
3. Information You Share
You share your information as you use and communicate through our Services strictly within your defined communication group:
- Secure Communication (Calls, Messages, Files): You share your audio, video, messages, and files with other users within your communication group. All content is end-to-end encrypted. This means the data is encrypted on your device and decrypted only on the recipient's device. Neither Ardaco nor the Silentel Server has access to your content or encryption keys.
- Secure Maps (Location): This feature is strictly opt-in and depends on your organization’s policy. If enabled by your administrator and activated by you. Silentel app collects location data to enable real-time location sharing within your closed group even when the app is closed or not in use. Your location data is end-to-end encrypted and shared strictly only within your communication group. You have full visibility of the specific users with whom you are sharing your location. If you do not activate this feature, your location is never accessed or collected.
- Account Information: Your Display Name, status, and presence information (e.g., online/offline) may be available to others within your communication group to facilitate communication.
Closed Communication System. Silentel operates as a strictly closed communication system. Communication is enabled only within your group where accounts are explicitly created and managed by your administrator. Unlike public messengers, there is no public registration, and you cannot be contacted by anonymous external users. This strictly controlled environment protects against unauthorized access and impersonation.
4. How You Exercise Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation or other applicable local laws, you have the right to access, rectify, port, and erase your information, as well as the right to restrict and object to certain processing of your information. This includes the right to object to our processing of your information for direct marketing and the right to object to our processing of your information where we are performing a task in the public interest or pursuing our legitimate interests or those of a third party. 5. Managing And Deleting Your Information
We store information until it is no longer necessary to provide our services, or until your account is deleted, whichever comes first. This is a case-by-case determination that depends on things like the nature of the information, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs.

6. Law And Protection
We collect, use, preserve, and share your information if we have a good-faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to:
- Respond pursuant to applicable law or regulations, to legal process, or to government requests.
- Enforce our Terms and any other applicable terms and policies, including for investigations of potential violations.
- Detect, investigate, prevent, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues.
- Or protect the rights, property, and safety of our users, or others.
